  • Prolonged stress can lead to diabetic, heart disease, obesity, asthma, gastrointestinal problems, ageing & premature death.

 

Work related stress/ occupational stress.

It is a state of condition that when the demand for work increases with overload. Stress is characterised by three stages:

  • Alarm stage
  • Resistant stage
  • Exhaustion stage

Stress can be controlled in the early stages itself by “ABC” strategy.
